Eardisley Castle, Herefordshire

Eardisley Castle was in the village of Eardisley in Herefordshire, England, near Hay-on-Wye. This was an 11th century motte and bailey castle with a moat around the bailey filled by a stream. First documented records are found in the 1086 Domesday Survey. The mound and wet ditches are the only traces now remaining.

Near Surface 2011

Leicester has been chosen to host Near Surface 2011 – the 17th European Meeting of Environmental and Engineering Geophysics of the Near Surface Geoscience Division of EAGE.
